- Part-time role - working 20 hours a week - Based in Santa Monica, Los Angeles

Our Tourism New Zealand office based in Los Angeles has a great opportunity for an experienced and proactive administrator who is looking to bring their coordination skills to a role in the travel and tourism industry.

Your core focus will be helping run a lively, fast paced office that supports marketing, trade, business development, and PR activity across the region. This role is diverse, and no two days are the same; you will be dealing with suppliers, arranging travel, processing invoices and expenses, liaising with building management, fielding customer enquiries, processing IT requests and much more.

In addition to the administration side of the role, you may be required to support the Regional Director and the wider team by working on a range of projects, including coordinating events.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be someone who enjoys being organised, helpful and one step ahead. You’ll bring strong coordination skills, sound judgement and a warm, professional approach.

• Experienced working in a fast-paced office, sales, marketing, or tourism environment.

• Strong administration and coordination skills, with confidence managing competing priorities and deadlines

• A proactive, flexible team player who enjoys supporting others.

• Able to multitask while maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail.

• Comfortable using office systems and tools, with experience supporting processes such as invoices, expenses, travel bookings, purchasing or supplier coordination.

• Curious and open to using AI and digital tools to work efficiently, improve processes and support day-to-day coordination.

• An understanding of, or passion for, the travel and tourism Industry.

• Warm personality that supports a positive work environment.

This role is part time for 20 hours a week. Due to the nature of the role you’ll need to work the majority of your hours from our Santa Monica office.
