Terms of Service

Last updated: October 14, 2026

1. Agreement and Who We Are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Jobbie, Inc. ("Jobbie", "we", "us"), a Delaware corporation that operates jobbie.bot, the Jobbie mobile app, employers.jobbie.bot, the Jobbie enterprise portal and the Jobbie API (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, tapping "Continue" or "I agree", or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use Jobbie through a seat provided by an organization, section 19 also applies to you. If you use Jobbie for Employers, section 18 also applies.

2. Eligibility

To use Jobbie you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher), able to enter into a binding contract, and not barred from using the Service under the laws of your country or under United States sanctions or export laws. You may hold one account. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it to these Terms. Jobbie supports job searches in the countries listed in the product; we may be unable to apply to roles elsewhere.

3. Description of Service

Jobbie is an automated job application service. You provide your profile, resume and job preferences, and Jobbie discovers matching roles and submits applications on your behalf to third-party job boards and applicant tracking systems (such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby and Indeed). The Service includes:

  • One-click and automatic application submission (Autopilot) on your behalf
  • AI-tailored cover letters generated for each role
  • AI resume tailoring and generation
  • Smart job matching based on your roles, location, salary and skills
  • A private Jobbie application email address, and application tracking that includes the answers submitted on your behalf and outcomes detected from employer replies (see section 5)
  • A one-on-one career coaching call with paid memberships (see section 20)

4. Applications on Your Behalf

When you apply through Jobbie — whether manually or via Autopilot — you authorize Jobbie to act as your agent and submit applications to third-party job boards and employers using the information in your profile, including your resume, contact details, work history, and your answers and preferences. AI may be used to complete screening questions and to generate cover letters or tailored resumes from the information you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for ensuring you are eligible and authorized to apply to the roles you target.

Review before submit. You can turn on review-before-submit in your settings so that applications wait for your approval. If you leave it off, you instruct us to submit applications without further review, and each submission is made at your direction.

Accounts on employer sites. Many employers require an account to apply. You authorize Jobbie to create and manage accounts for you on employer career sites and applicant tracking systems using your name, your private Jobbie application address and a password we generate, and to store those credentials so we can sign in for you. Those accounts are yours and are subject to the third party’s terms.

Employers and job boards set their own rules, may reject, filter or ignore applications (including automated or high-volume applications), and decide every hiring outcome. Jobbie does not control and is not responsible for their policies, decisions or practices. Some roles cannot be applied to through Jobbie (for example unsupported sites, closed listings, or sites that block automation); applications that fail to process are refunded to your balance as described in section 12. Once an application has been submitted, Jobbie generally cannot withdraw it — contact the employer directly.

5. Your Application Email Address and Connected Email

Private Jobbie address. We create a private Jobbie email address for your account and use it as the contact address on applications where appropriate. We receive the messages sent to that address — verification codes, application confirmations, recruiter replies, interview invitations, rejections and offers — keep them in your Jobbie Inbox, forward the kinds you choose to the email address registered on your account (by default interview invitations and offers; change this in Settings), and read them automatically (including with AI) to complete sign-ups and verification steps and to update the status of your applications in your tracker. You authorize us to receive and process those messages on your behalf for these purposes.

Connected email (optional). Instead of the private address you may connect your own mailbox (such as Gmail) with an app password. We use that access read-only and only to retrieve job-application verification codes; we do not scan a connected mailbox for anything else. You can disconnect it at any time in Settings, which removes the stored credential.

6. No Guarantee of Employment

Jobbie does not guarantee that you will get a job, receive an interview or job offer, or achieve any particular employment outcome. This applies to all Jobbie services, including free accounts, paid plans, Boost options, application top-ups and coaching. You are paying for access to the Service and application submissions, not a guaranteed job. Hiring decisions are made solely by employers.

7. AI-Generated Content

Cover letters, tailored resumes and screening-question answers are produced with AI from the information in your profile and may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies despite our efforts to keep them grounded in what you provide. AI-generated content is provided for your use and review. You are responsible for reviewing applications and AI-generated content for accuracy, for keeping your profile truthful and current, and for the content of any application made on your behalf. Jobbie is not liable for errors in AI-generated content or for any consequences arising from submitted applications.

8. User Accounts, Security and Messages

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share, sell or transfer your account, and do not create more than one account. Notify us immediately at hello@jobbie.bot of any unauthorized use of your account. We may require you to verify your identity before acting on requests about your account.

Text messages. If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, you consent to recurring automated text messages from Jobbie at that number, including reminders, tips, offers and booking information. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Details of how we use your number are in the Privacy Policy.

9. Applications, Plans and Billing

Jobbie is billed in applications. One application equals one job application that Jobbie submits on your behalf. If an application fails to process, that application is automatically refunded to your balance. New web memberships offer Monthly at $29.99 per month, 3 months at $79.99 paid upfront every three months, Turbo Monthly at $67.99 per month, or Turbo 3 months at $149.99 paid upfront every three months (list price $199.99). Monthly includes 1,000 applications/mo; 3 months includes 1,500 applications/mo; Turbo Monthly includes 2,000 applications/mo; Turbo 3 months includes 2,500 applications/mo. Both Turbo plans let up to three of your resume profiles run in Autopilot at once, run Autopilot at higher concurrency, and can automatically send LinkedIn connection requests to recruiter, hiring-manager and talent-acquisition contacts at employers you apply to, using a LinkedIn account you choose to link (you can turn this off or unlink at any time). Monthly and 3 months are together called Premium; Turbo Monthly and Turbo 3 months are together called Turbo. All include Autopilot Max, AI resume tailoring and editor, priority job matching, one-click applications, and a free one-on-one career coaching call. Eligible users can start a seven-day free trial of any membership that renews to the membership selected at checkout; the renewal price and cancellation terms are disclosed there. Existing Starter, Pro, Power and Boost subscribers retain their current subscription prices, allowances and features unless they voluntarily change or cancel their plan. Accounts with an active paid plan may also purchase one-time application top-ups. Prices, any applicable discount, and the renewal terms are shown at checkout.

Prices are in US dollars unless shown otherwise. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay; where we are required to collect sales tax, VAT or GST it is shown at checkout. We may change prices or allowances on notice; a change applies from your first renewal after the notice, and you can cancel before then.

10. Free Trial and Paid Membership

Creating an account is free, and an account without a paid plan or trial can complete setup, browse and skip matched jobs, and manage its profile, but it does not include any applications. Submitting applications — including one-click applications — and using Autopilot, Autopilot Max, AI resume tailoring, and every other paid feature require an active paid membership or free trial. New accounts may be offered a one-time seven-day free trial of any membership — Premium Monthly at $29.99 per month, Premium 3 months at $79.99 every three months, Turbo Monthly at $67.99 per month, or Turbo 3 months at $149.99 every three months — which requires a valid payment method up front. During the trial you receive the membership’s application allowance, its features, and the free coaching call; when the trial converts, the first paid month refills your balance to that allowance rather than adding a second one. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your payment method is charged the renewal price disclosed at checkout and on each renewal thereafter until cancelled. Cancel from your account billing settings before the trial ends to avoid being charged. The trial is limited to one per person; we may decline a trial to an account we reasonably believe has already had one, including under another email address or payment method. Any applications remaining in your balance can only be used while you have an active paid plan or trial.

11. Payments and Plan Changes

By purchasing a paid plan you authorize Jobbie to charge your payment method on the billing schedule disclosed at checkout until you cancel. New web memberships renew monthly or every three months. Monthly ($29.99) and Turbo Monthly ($67.99) are charged each month, with 1,000 (Monthly) or 2,000 (Turbo Monthly) applications/mo; 3 months ($79.99) and Turbo 3 months ($149.99, list price $199.99) charges are collected in full upfront every three months, with 1,500 (3 months) or 2,500 (Turbo 3 months) applications/mo. A voluntary switch to a new web membership is scheduled for your next renewal, with your existing terms preserved until then. Legacy subscriptions keep their existing billing cadence and terms unless changed or cancelled. Manage plan changes and cancellations through your account billing settings.

If a renewal payment fails we may retry it and pause paid features until it succeeds. If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first, we may pause your account while the dispute is open and remove the applications granted for that charge; a dispute resolved in your favor is refunded through that process rather than by us separately.

12. Refunds and Cancellations

Applications that fail to process are automatically refunded to your application balance — you are only charged for applications that actually go through. Beyond these automatic refunds, you may request a refund of a subscription charge within 24 hours of payment by contacting hello@jobbie.bot from the email address on your account. This 24-hour refund window applies only if you have not yet used any of the applications included with that charge; once you have used one or more applications from a billing period, the charge for that period is non-refundable. After 24 hours, subscription charges are non-refundable. Each membership month refills your application balance to your membership’s monthly allowance (1,000 for Monthly, 1,500 for 3 months, 2,000 for Turbo Monthly, 2,500 for Turbo 3 months); applications you did not use are not lost at the refill, but they do not accumulate beyond that allowance from one month to the next. Applications from one-time top-ups sit above the allowance and are never reduced by a refill. Applications are not redeemable for cash and do not roll over indefinitely after cancellation. Cancelling a plan stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. Nothing in this section limits a refund or cancellation right that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded (see section 13).

13. Consumer Rights in Your Country

If you are a consumer, you have the benefit of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights. In particular:

European Union and United Kingdom

You have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the transaction, without giving any reason. Because Jobbie is a digital service that we supply immediately, by subscribing you expressly request and consent that we begin providing the service — including delivering your application allowance — right away, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. If you withdraw while the service has only been partially performed, you may be charged an amount proportionate to what has already been provided. To exercise this right, contact us at hello@jobbie.bot from the email address on your account. This right is in addition to the automatic refunds and the 24-hour subscription refund window described above. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the EU Digital Content Directive, the Service must be as described and provided with reasonable care and skill; nothing in these Terms excludes those statutory guarantees.

Canada

Provincial consumer-protection laws (for example the Ontario Consumer Protection Act and the Quebec Consumer Protection Act) may give you cancellation rights for internet agreements and automatic renewals that apply in addition to these Terms. We send a copy of your purchase confirmation by email. The Terms are drafted in English; if you would like a French version of these Terms or of any communication, write to hello@jobbie.bot.

South Africa

The Consumer Protection Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act may give you a cooling-off period for online purchases, except for services whose performance has begun with your consent. By subscribing you ask us to begin providing the Service immediately. Your rights under those Acts are not limited by these Terms.

India

The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 apply to your purchase. Our Grievance Officer can be reached at hello@jobbie.bot with the subject "Grievance"; we acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and work to resolve them within one month.

Singapore and Guatemala

The Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (Singapore) and the Ley de Protección al Consumidor y Usuario (Guatemala) apply to consumers in those countries and are not limited by these Terms.

14. Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play

If you subscribe through our iOS app, your subscription is an auto-renewable in-app purchase processed by Apple and billed to your Apple ID. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription or turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions) after purchase. One-time application top-up packs purchased in the iOS app are consumable in-app purchases and do not renew. iOS prices may differ from prices on our website. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies — contact Apple Support to request one.

These Terms are between you and Jobbie, not Apple. Jobbie, not Apple, is responsible for the iOS app and its content, for maintenance and support, for any warranty claims, product-liability claims, intellectual-property claims and legal compliance relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to the iOS app and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

If you install the Android app, purchases are made on our website unless Google Play billing is offered in the app; purchases processed by Google are subject to Google Play’s terms and refund policies.

15. Your Content and Licenses

You own your resume, profile information, documents and anything else you upload or enter ("Your Content"). You grant Jobbie a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, adapt (for example to tailor a resume), display and transmit Your Content, and to submit it to job boards, applicant tracking systems and employers, solely to provide, secure and improve the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already submitted to third parties at your direction and copies we retain as described in the Privacy Policy. Documents that Jobbie generates for you from Your Content are yours to use.

If you submit a testimonial, review or success story, or agree to let us share one, you grant Jobbie a license to publish it in our marketing with the name and details you provide. You can withdraw that permission by emailing hello@jobbie.bot, and we will stop new uses within a reasonable time. Suggestions and feedback you give us may be used without obligation to you.

16. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law that applies to you
  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information to us or to employers, or misrepresent your identity, qualifications or eligibility to work
  • Impersonate any person or apply on behalf of anyone other than yourself (or, for organizations, anyone other than your authorized seat holders)
  • Share, sell or transfer your account, create multiple accounts, or use another person’s email address or payment method to obtain additional trials, credits or discounts
  • Circumvent or manipulate plan limits, application counts, refunds, promotions or billing
  • Use bots, scripts or scraping to access the Service, or copy, resell or redistribute job listings, candidate data or other content from the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or the systems of employers and job boards, or interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Reverse engineer or copy the Service except where the law permits it
  • Use employer or candidate information obtained through the Service for anything other than its intended purpose

17. Intellectual Property

All content and functionality of the Service — software, text, graphics, logos and designs — is owned by Jobbie or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app and the Service for your own job search (or, for organizations and employers, for the uses described in sections 18 and 19). Resumes, cover letters and other documents generated for you from your own information remain yours to use.

18. Jobbie for Employers

Employers that are approved to use employers.jobbie.bot can search anonymized summaries of Jobbie job seekers and request introductions. Profiles stay anonymized until the job seeker replies to the introduction. As an employer you agree to use candidate information only to evaluate candidates for genuine job opportunities, to comply with employment, privacy and anti-discrimination laws, not to contact a candidate outside Jobbie before they reply to your introduction, and not to export, scrape or share candidate data. Jobbie does not verify candidates or employers and is not a party to any employment relationship. Paid employer features are billed as shown in the employers dashboard.

19. Organizations and Enterprise Seats

An organization — for example an employer, an outplacement or career-services provider, or a school — can register with Jobbie, be approved, and provide Jobbie seats to people it chooses. The organization is responsible for having a lawful basis to enroll its seat holders and to receive their data, for its administrators, and for its API keys, webhook endpoints and every use of the data it receives.

If your seat is provided by an organization: the organization’s administrators can see your application activity, application statuses and outcomes (including interviews and offers), can receive that information in their own systems through the Jobbie API and webhooks, can set certain profile fields and preferences for the program, and can pause your seat or ask us to remove it. Emails we send about applications made under the program may be branded "Jobbie via <organization>". When your seat ends, the organization keeps the records already delivered to it; your account and data otherwise stay yours and remain subject to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

20. Coaching Calls

Paid memberships include a one-on-one career coaching call booked through our scheduling provider. Coaching is general career guidance based on the information you share; it is not legal, financial, immigration or employment advice, and no outcome is guaranteed. Calls are scheduled subject to availability.

21. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties — job boards and applicant tracking systems, Apple and Google, our payment processors, our scheduling provider and others — and links to employer and job-board websites. Their content, policies and terms are their own; your use of them is subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for them. We do not endorse any employer or job listing, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of job listings sourced from third parties.

22. Termination and Suspension

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account, or limit features, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse or unlawful activity, if your organization ends your seat, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

On termination your right to use the Service ends and unused applications are forfeited, except that if we terminate without cause or discontinue the Service during a paid period we will refund the unused portion of that period. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 6, 7, 15, 17, 23, 24, 25 and 26) survive termination. Your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

23. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, THAT ANY APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED OR RESULT IN AN INTERVIEW, OFFER OR JOB, THAT JOB LISTINGS ARE ACCURATE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT IS ACCURATE OR SUITABLE. Nothing in this section excludes guarantees, conditions or warranties that cannot be excluded under the law of your country, including the statutory rights of consumers in the EU, the UK, Canada, South Africa, India and Singapore.

24. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOBBIE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, LOST EMPLOYMENT OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, THE OUTCOME OF ANY APPLICATION, THE ACCURACY OF JOB LISTINGS, THE DECISIONS OR ACTIONS OF EMPLOYERS OR JOB BOARDS, OR ERRORS IN AI-GENERATED CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for a consumer’s statutory rights in the country where they live.

25. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jobbie and its officers, directors, employees and contractors from claims, liabilities, damages and reasonable costs (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, inaccurate or unlawful information you provide to us or to employers, or your violation of the rights of any person. This section does not apply to consumers in countries where such indemnities are not enforceable.

26. Governing Law, Disputes and Complaints

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Each of us may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

Before starting a claim, please contact us at hello@jobbie.bot and give us 30 days to try to resolve it with you. Consumers in the EU, the UK, Canada, India, Singapore and South Africa may also use the consumer-dispute bodies available in their country.

27. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We improve the Service continuously and may add, change or remove features. We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give notice — by email, in the app or on this page — at least 14 days before they take effect, unless a change is required by law or needed urgently for security, in which case it may take effect immediately. The "Last updated" date shows when the current version took effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, cancel your plan and stop using the Service before that date.

28. General

Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the terms shown at checkout are the entire agreement between you and Jobbie about the Service. Severability: if any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. Assignment: you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, and will notify you if we do. Force majeure: neither of us is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages at job boards, payment processors or infrastructure providers.

Electronic communications: you agree that we may send notices, receipts and other communications about your account electronically, by email or in the app. These Terms are written in English; translations are provided for convenience and the English version controls where the law allows. Except for Apple as described in section 14, there are no third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

29. Contact Information

Jobbie, Inc. — hello@jobbie.bot. For privacy requests, see the Privacy Policy. For grievances from India, use the subject "Grievance". By using Jobbie you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
