The Maintenance Technician at Jabil, Inc. is responsible for performing a variety of skilled duties to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and safety.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on production machinery, facility equipment, and building systems. * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to SMT lines, automated assembly machines, and test equipment. * Troubleshoot and resolve electrical control problems, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) issues, motor controls, and sensor malfunctions. * Perform routine inspections to identify potential problems and proactively address them to minimize downtime. * Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to aid in troubleshooting and repair. * Complete necessary documentation for maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and parts requisitions. * Collaborate with production teams to understand equipment performance issues and implement effective solutions. * Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards. * Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. * Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Job Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or vocational certification in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or a related field preferred. * Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment. * Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills. * Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems (up to 480V), including motor controls, sensors, and PLCs. * Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals. * Familiarity with various hand and power tools, and precision measuring instruments. * Basic computer skills for data entry and work order management. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. * Availability for on-call duties and shift work as required.
