What will you be doing?

- Performs a variety of general maintenance and repair to equipment and/or buildings at an assigned facility(s).

- May be required to install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical control and mechanical repair on forklifts, and other related automated warehouse equipment.

- May troubleshoot, repair and/or replace electrical equipment, switches, fixtures, lighting, and wiring.

- May inspect electrical equipment and wiring for hazards and make repairs as necessary.

- Completes and updates HVAC documentation, logbooks and maintenance schedules.

- Works with external contractors for work beyond role responsibilities.

- Manage and communicate with contractors when on site.

- Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.

- Maintain and/or updated electronic and/or hard copy record as required.

- Other duties as assigned.

- Able to establish priorities and manage time to complete required work.

- Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments across the business.

- Strong attention to detail.

Anything else you should know?

- May require standing for long periods of time; lifiting up to 25 pounds frequently & 50 pounds occasionally; working at heights exceeding 15 feet; negotiating steps, stools and ladders; frequently wearing personal protective equipment (PPE); requires stand, bend, stoop, squat, twist; Power Industrial (PIT) certification; may need to be out in various inclement weather

- You will be expected to be on call in this role. We have a 1 in 5 week call-out Rota which covers our UK1 Distribution centre & our Head Office site.
