Job Title: School LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Albany, NY Employment Type: Full-Time

Shifts : Sunday-Wednesday 9:30am -8 pm or Wednesday- Saturday 9:30 am- 8 pm

Payrate : Starting at $33 per hour

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking caring and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to deliver health services to students in school settings. As a School LPN, you will play a vital role in the health and well-being of children, supporting them in a safe and nurturing educational environment.

Key Responsibilities: - Provide nursing care to students, including administering medication and treatments as prescribed. - Monitor students for signs of illness or injury and provide appropriate first aid. - Assist with screening programs and health assessments. - Develop care plans in collaboration with school staff and parents/guardians. - Maintain accurate health records and confidentiality of student information. - Educate students on health topics and promote wellness and healthy habits.

Requirements

Qualifications: - Current and valid New York State LPN license. - Experience in pediatrics or school health preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
