Industry Sales & Business Development
Join a fast-moving team working at the intersection of enterprise sales, data, and artificial intelligence. We’re seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to connect with companies across the U.S. and introduce competitive opportunities to participate in enterprise data acquisition partnerships.
This is a high-volume, phone-focused outbound sales role for someone who enjoys cold calling, knows how to quickly build credibility with business and technical decision-makers, and thrives in a performance-driven environment.
You won’t be responsible for negotiating final legal contracts. Your focus is generating interest, qualifying opportunities, helping prospects navigate the initial data inventory process, and moving qualified accounts to the commercial and legal teams.
What You’ll Do - Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting, primarily through cold calls supported by email outreach. - Engage companies across multiple industries and clearly communicate the data partnership value proposition. - Speak with IT, data, operations, and other enterprise stakeholders to identify potential opportunities. - Qualify interested companies and guide them through documenting their IT systems and available data volumes through an intake portal. - Handle objections, answer initial questions, and keep prospects moving through the qualification process. - Hand off qualified opportunities to commercial and legal teams for NDA execution, pricing, and final contract discussions. - Maintain detailed CRM records of calls, objections, prospect feedback, and pipeline activity. - Follow strict privacy and compliance procedures when discussing potentially sensitive enterprise data. - Immediately stop and escalate conversations if a prospect attempts to provide raw data, PII, health information, trade secrets, or other protected information before an NDA is executed.
