Job description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a product-focused engineering team building software for construction contractors. You will help develop systems that bring workforce, financial, and field operations together, supporting the teams that deliver essential infrastructure and buildings.
WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead the design and implementation of complex product features from technical planning through delivery. - Build full-stack solutions across frontend interfaces, backend APIs, and modular infrastructure and services. - Work closely with product teammates and customers to understand needs, gather feedback, and shape product decisions. - Communicate technical designs and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical partners. - Write technical blueprints and create reusable building blocks that improve development workflows.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Four to nine years of full-stack software engineering experience, including experience with complex products, and prior experience at Senior level. - A strong technical foundation and balanced experience building frontend user interfaces, backend APIs, and infrastructure or services. - Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB, or comparable technologies. - Experience delivering production software in a fast-growing startup or similarly high-bar engineering environment. - A product-minded approach, sound communication skills, and the ability to take ownership and make decisions in a lean team. - Interest in construction technology, workforce software, or other operational B2B products is valuable.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $200,000 to $240,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site in San Francisco, California.
