Senior Software Engineer, Customer Studio Backend

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a product-focused backend team building a no-code platform that helps customers activate data directly from their warehouses. You will shape a fast-growing product area, contributing to its architecture, reliability, and continued development.

WHAT YOU'LL DO - Improve warehouse query performance, including query optimization and precomputed state. - Build analytics and experimentation capabilities for audience creation and downstream performance tracking. - Explore real-time audience computation and syncing as data infrastructure evolves. - Develop product experiences that make data workflows more seamless, including opportunities to apply generative AI. - Contribute to product specifications and use customer feedback to guide backend architecture and implementation.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Six or more years of backend engineering experience, including substantial work designing and building systems at high-growth technology companies. - Staff-level experience or demonstrated responsibility at a comparable level, with a record of career progression and sustained contributions. - Strong backend and distributed systems fundamentals, with sound judgment around scalability, maintainability, and reliability. - Experience building modern backend systems with a strong product and user perspective, and a willingness to engage with customers and iterate on feedback. - Strong communication skills, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly and take on new challenges. - A degree in computer science, mathematics, or electrical engineering, or equivalent foundational expertise.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary range: $180,000 to $320,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available. Equity details were not provided.
