ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a New Jersey law firm's commercial real estate team as a senior paralegal supporting sophisticated transactions for developers, property owners, investors, and lenders. You'll work closely with attorneys and manage key transaction tasks with a high degree of independence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO - Order and review title commitments and surveys, and help resolve title objections. - Prepare closing documents, maintain checklists, and coordinate funds flow for commercial acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing transactions. - Coordinate due diligence, entity documents, and estoppels across multiple active matters. - Manage post-closing recordings, filings, and follow-up items. - Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and title companies.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Five or more years of recent, continuous commercial real estate paralegal experience at a law firm, with transactional experience in New Jersey. - Hands-on experience with title, surveys, and commercial closings, including independently managing matters from opening through post-closing. - Experience beyond residential closings, with a broad understanding of commercial real estate transactions. - Experience in both transactional real estate and land use work is relevant. - Strong attention to detail, polished writing, and a stable employment history.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Annual salary range: $100,000 to $130,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site, five days per week in Roseland, New Jersey.
