A DAY IN THE LIFE:
The Senior Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for leading integrated digital marketing strategies that build awareness, engage priority audiences, and drive measurable business results. This role connects paid media, email, web, audience activation, campaign measurement, and optimization into a cohesive customer experience across the full funnel. The position translates brand, product, and business objectives into audience-led strategies, scalable campaign plans, measurement frameworks, and clear optimization recommendations. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager partners closely with Analytics, Brand, Product Marketing, Brand Operations, Brand Experience, Sales, IT, Legal, Regulatory, Privacy, international teams, and external agencies to deliver effective digital programs in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
A Senior Digital Marketing Manager's at Tandem are also responsible for: - Leads integrated digital marketing strategy and execution across paid media, email, web, audience activation, and emerging digital channels in support of brand, product, launch, and business objectives. - Translates audience insights, customer journeys, market priorities, and business goals into channel strategies, campaign briefs, media plans, testing roadmaps, and measurable performance goals. - Owns digital campaign performance, including budget pacing, channel effectiveness, funnel progression, conversion, cost efficiency, and return on marketing investment. - Builds measurement frameworks and dashboards with Analytics and Marketing Operations; synthesizes data into decision-ready insights, risks, tradeoffs, and optimization actions for senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders. - Leads experimentation across audiences, creative, messaging, offers, landing pages, media mix, and campaign sequencing to improve performance and customer experience. - Partners with Brand, Product Marketing, Creative, Web, CRM, Sales, Marketing Operations, IT, and other cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated omnichannel programs and consistent customer experiences. - Supports international and multi-market launches by establishing scalable digital strategies, launch playbooks, channel requirements, timelines, measurement standards, and localization guidance for language, culture, media behavior, regulatory requirements, approved claims, and market-specific business needs. - Manages external agencies, technology partners, direct reports, and/or project teams by setting clear scope, priorities, roles, deliverables, budgets, performance expectations, feedback, and accountability. - Strengthens campaign enablement in partnership with Marketing Operations and technology teams, including audience activation, lead management, tracking, tagging, consent, and data quality. - Ensures digital initiatives comply with company policies and applicable legal, regulatory, privacy, accessibility, and promotional review requirements, including Privacy/HIPAA where relevant. - Monitors digital marketing trends, platform changes, competitive activity, and emerging technologies; recommends practical opportunities to improve reach, relevance, efficiency, and differentiation.
WHEN & WHERE YOU’LL WORK:
Remote: This position is fully remote and open to candidates within the United States. Equipment for the role will be provided and training will occur virtually.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED: - Demonstrated expertise in integrated digital strategy, paid media, lifecycle/email marketing, web experiences, audience activation, and campaign optimization. - Deep expertise in integrated digital strategy, paid media, lifecycle/email marketing, web experiences, audience activation, campaign optimization, and full-funnel measurement. - Strong knowledge of major advertising, analytics, tag management, and marketing automation platforms, with the ability to apply data to improve performance and customer experience. - Ability to connect business objectives, audience insights, channel strategy, creative, media, measurement, and optimization into a cohesive plan. - Strong analytical, project management, and program leadership skills, including the ability to manage multiple campaigns, launches, markets, agencies, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously. - Proven ability to lead through influence, manage agencies or team members, collaborate across global and regional teams, and communicate strategies, insights, and recommendations clearly.
EXTRA AWESOME: - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and applicable experience. - Advanced degree or relevant digital marketing certifications preferred. - 12-15 years of progressive digital marketing experience, including ownership of integrated, full-funnel campaigns across multiple digital channels. - Experience leading complex campaigns, product launches, media budgets, agencies, vendors, and/or cross-functional teams. - Experience supporting international or multi-market launches, including localization, regional coordination, and adaptation to market-specific requirements. - Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or another regulated industry is preferred.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting base pay range for this position is $ 141,800 - $177,300 annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes bonus and a robust benefits package.
Tandem offers health care benefits such as medical, dental, vision available your first day, as well as health savings accounts and flexible saving accounts. You’ll also receive 11 paid holidays per year, a minimum of 20 days of paid time off (with accrual starting on day 1) and you will have access to a 401k plan with company match as well as an Employee Stock Purchase plan.
