We are seeking a highly motivated Offsites SCM Advisor to join our Mining Supply Chain Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting offsite repair and return activities for critical mining equipment and components across multiple mine sites. You will work closely with Maintenance, Planning, Warehousing, Logistics, and external suppliers to ensure materials and services are procured efficiently, equipment downtime is minimized, and supply chain objectives are achieved.

This position requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, supplier coordination, and enterprise systems, along with the ability to build effective relationships across operational and commercial teams.

Minimum Requirements: - 1-3 years experience in procurement, supply chain management, inventory management, or a related field - Knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, logistics, and material planning - Experience working within industrial, mining, oil sands, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environments is considered an asset - Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with Fieldglass, myTrack, and Ariba Network - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment

Responsibilities: - Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders and procurement documentation for materials and services - Utilize SAP S/4HANA, Fieldglass, myTrack, and Ariba Network to create, manage, and maintain purchase orders - Review and process Statements of Work (SOWs) for service orders related to offsite repairs, ensuring compliance with quality and scope requirements - Monitor inventory levels, material requirements, and stock status reports to support planned maintenance and repair schedules while identifying and mitigating supply risks and minimize equipment downtime - Coordinate offsite logistics for equipment and components sent for repair, refurbishment, or fabrication, including third-party goods receipt and return to service - Manage reverse logistics and expedite material movement between warehouses, vendors, and repair facilities, including supplier core returns and unused materials, to minimize equipment downtime - Collaborate with Planning, Scheduling, Warehousing, Maintenance Coordinators, and Operations teams to support business requirements - Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure service delivery expectations are met

Location and other Key details: - This position is office based. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W. office or Syncrude Mildred Lake, Fort McMurray - Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs - Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
