Foothills Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our well-established pediatric dental team. What You'll Do

As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist and clinical team in providing high-quality pediatric dental care while helping children and families feel comfortable throughout their visit. You will assist with clinical procedures, prepare treatment areas, and help maintain an organized and efficient clinical environment.

Your responsibilities will include: - Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and patient visits - Prepare patients for treatment and help children feel comfortable and supported - Prepare and break down treatment rooms, instruments, and materials - Sterilize instruments and maintain appropriate infection control standards - Take dental X-rays and impressions as permitted by applicable state regulations - Assist with charting and maintaining accurate patient records - Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care as directed by the dentist - Support efficient patient flow and daily clinical operations - Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment areas - Follow HIPAA, OSHA, sterilization, and other applicable safety and compliance standards - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Preferred Qualifications: - Previous dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric dental experience is a plus - Dental Assistant Certified  - Radiology Certified - Strong communication and patient care skills - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment - Friendly, patient, and team-focused approach - Experience working with children and families preferred
