Pharmacy Technician - Galway City

Job description

We are recruiting a qualified Pharmacy Technician for a busy independent community pharmacy in Galway City. This is a full-time, permanent position offering €23 per hour and a favourable schedule with no Sundays or late nights.

The role

• Assist with the accurate preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist.

• Process prescriptions and maintain accurate patient records.

• Provide professional and friendly service to pharmacy customers.

• Support stock management and the day-to-day running of the dispensary.

• Work closely with the pharmacist and wider pharmacy team.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with pharmacy procedures.

Requirements

• A recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification is essential.

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a busy pharmacy team.

• Availability to work fully on-site in Galway City.

• Availability to work one Saturday in three.
