Software Engineer in Test

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of software test systems. - Prepare and maintain automated functional tests of software defined networks. - Mentor Associate Engineers and Technicians. - Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Required Qualifications - B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent - Typically 2+ years experience in one or more of the following areas: - Object oriented design - Object oriented languages (C#) - Scripting languages (Python) - DevOps or CI/CD - Automated testing - Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills - Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities - Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications: - Modern communications protocols - Ethernet networking - Software-defined networking - OT systems - Windows and Linux development experience - C/C++ - JavaScript/TypeScript/React - Project management

Pay Range Data

Associate Software Engineer: $82,000 - $122,900

Software Engineer: $89,400 - $134,100

Lead Software Engineer: $107,600 - $161,500

We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills
