Job description

THE ROLE

We build robot foundation models for manufacturing, and the fastest way to prove that out is by getting them running on real production lines with real customers. We're looking for a founding Go-to-Market hire who already knows this world: someone who has spent real time around industrial automation and manufacturing, has worked with major robot OEMs, and knows how decisions actually get made on a factory floor.

You'll be the person who figures out where we should be selling and who we should be talking to. That means identifying the market segments most ripe for rapid expansion, building relationships with manufacturers here and globally, and opening doors with the OEMs and integrators who shape how automation gets adopted. You'll travel to be where the customers and partners are, domestically and internationally when a deal calls for it.

As a founding hire, there's no established playbook or pipeline to inherit. You'll build the go-to-market motion from scratch, working closely with the founders and engineering team to translate what you learn in the field into where we focus next.

WHAT YOU'LL DO - Identify and prioritize market segments ripe for rapid expansion - Build and grow relationships with manufacturers domestically and globally - Develop and grow relationships with major robot OEMs and integrators - Own the end-to-end go-to-market motion, from pipeline generation through closing deals - Travel to meet customers and partners, including internationally when a customer or deal requires it - Bring field intelligence back to the founding team to sharpen product and market strategy - Represent Reflection Robotics to customers, partners, and at industry events

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

MUST-HAVES: - Deep expertise in industrial automation and manufacturing - Direct experience working with major robot OEMs - Existing relationships with manufacturers, domestically and globally - Ability to identify and evaluate market segments for expansion opportunity - Willingness and ability to travel, including internationally, to be where customers are - High ownership and comfort building a go-to-market function from scratch - Ability to work in-person in Seattle when not traveling

NICE-TO-HAVES: - Experience in electronics, automotive, medical devices, dual use manufacturing - A track record of closing complex, technical deals with industrial customers - Existing network spanning both OEMs and end manufacturers

We care much more about how you think and what you've built than a specific degree or years-of-experience number. If you've done work that maps to this but doesn't check every box above, we'd still like to hear from you.
