Industrial Electrician – Plant Project

Location: Ashland, VA Job Type: Full-Time Temporary Project Project Length: 4 weeks Shift: 1st Shift Starting Pay: $28.00/hour — higher depending on experience Potential for Hire: Qualified performers may have an opportunity to transition to Contract-to-Hire after the project.

We are looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to support a short-term plant project. The role focuses on electrical installation and connections in an active industrial environment while working alongside other trades.

What You’ll Do - Install, run, and terminate industrial electrical wiring and conduit - Install electrical components and equipment throughout an operating plant - Connect electrical systems while coordinating work around pipefitting crews and process piping installation - Review electrical drawings, layouts, and work instructions to determine proper equipment placement and wiring routes - Install conduit, supports, cable, junction boxes, disconnects, and other electrical components - Use appropriate hand and power tools for electrical installation work - Coordinate with other trades to avoid conflicts and maintain project progress - Follow established safety procedures when working around active plant operations - Complete assigned electrical installation tasks according to project schedules

What We’re Looking For - Industrial electrical installation experience - Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts - Experience working with conduit, wiring, cable, junction boxes, disconnects, and electrical components - Comfortable using hand and power tools - Ability to work safely in an active plant environment - Ability to work effectively with pipefitters and other trades - Dependable and able to meet project deadlines

Project Opportunity: This is a 4-week temporary project with the potential for Contract-to-Hire based on performance and business needs.
