PURVIS has an immediate opening for a Logistics Analyst / Provisioner to work in our Middletown office to support a government Naval program. This position will support development, acquiring, installation, and modernization and maintenance of the Navy’s Electromagnetic Systems.
The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include: - Review and validate supply support documentation for compliance with Acquisition Documents (ADs) and Navy guidelines. - Develop and maintain Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD/SPTD) for spares, MAMs, tools, and support equipment. - Analyze and update supply support codes (AMC, AMSC, SM&R, MEC, MCC, CIIC) to ensure accuracy and mission alignment. - Support inventory management throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including cataloging, receipt, storage, and disposal. - Conduct Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) evaluations and contribute to logistics support analysis. - Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for improving provisioning and supply documentation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and use MS Office and SharePoint for documentation and reporting. - Identify and implement process improvements in provisioning and logistics workflows.
Qualifications - US Navy service in the submarine force is a plus. - Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Level I & II certified - Demonstrated experience reviewing and evaluating supply support documentation for accuracy and compliance with Acquisition Documents (ADs) in accordance with 3.0 guidelines and government-furnished information (GFI). - Proficient in providing detailed comments and recommendations for corrections or improvements to provisioning, replenishment, and supply support item documentation, including spares, repair parts, Maintenance Assistance Modules (MAMs), and tools. - Experience updating and maintaining documentation related to the acquisition timeline, inventory management, cataloging, receipt, storage, transfer, and disposal of supply support items. - Ability to develop and deliver Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and Supplemental Provisioning Technical Documentation (SPTD). - Skilled in analyzing and recommending changes to supply support coding, including: - Acquisition Method Coding (AMC) - Acquisition Method Suffix Code (AMSC) - Source, Maintenance and Recoverability (SM&R) Codes - Mission Essentiality Codes (MECs) - Mission Criticality Codes (MCC) - Controlled Inventory Item Codes (CIIC) - Strong attention to detail and a working knowledge of supply chain processes, provisioning standards, and logistics support analysis principles. - Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Share Point, MS Outlook and other software used on Navy workstations.
Position will require candidate to have or be able to obtain a government security clearance to the level of SECRET.
