The Graphic Finisher position will be responsible for the finalization of graphic projects to a high quality standard and ready to be sent to our clients. The Finisher will employ the use of a steady hand and a keen eye to trim, mount, laminate and assemble printed and painted elements to an end-product. In addition to the finishing itself, the associate is also responsible for cleaning and preparing substrates for various applications, organizing in-house work into a structured work flow, maintaining a clean work environment and comes equipped with a “can-do” attitude.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Measure and verify dimensions before trimming and adhering graphic elements. - Assembly of graphic elements with use of foam tape, glue, compressed air tools and electric drills. - Create a wide variety of assembled displays and/or structures with the aid of blueprints, specifications, and part calculations. - Interpret client requests and provide prototypes to approve prior to commencing work. - Ability to determine best material yield and maintain in-house inventory with basic data entry skills. - Ability to work at a fast pace under pressure - Self-motivated and able to work independently and in teams - Assist in maintaining, cleaning, and organizing finishing department - Comply with all personnel, departmental and safety policies - Read and understand work orders, tech drawings, cut sheets and written instructions - Other duties as assigned by team lead and/or Supervisor
Requirements
Knowledge of the basic carpentry tools. Attention to detail and maintaining a safe work environment is essential.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary to deliver the project on time.
