Job description

MPOC IMMIGRATION SUPERVISOR

Manifest | In-Office — North Phoenix, Arizona (5 days/week)

ABOUT MANIFEST

Manifest Law is one of the first AI-native corporate immigration firms in the country, and one of the fastest-growing — proof that legal professionals want to work this way. We handle sophisticated, high-stakes matters, with technology that removes the busywork rather than replacing the people who do the work.

Manifest was built to offer the best of both worlds: the scale of a larger firm with the quality client service of a boutique. Manifest OS — the technology that powers the firm — carries much of the operational load, so our team spends its time on work that needs real attention to detail. The result is a practice with the care of a boutique and the capability of a large firm.

We're building the kind of institution people are proud to put on their résumé — a firm for people who want more from their career: real ownership over their day-to-day work, a genuine partnership with the attorneys and paralegals they support, and a front-row seat in building what a modern immigration practice can look like.

About the Role

We're looking for an MPOC Immigration Supervisor to build, lead, and grow a critical piece of our immigration operations from the ground up. You'll take ownership of the MPOC function — building the workflow, systems, and team that support it — while directly supervising the people who run it day to day, including our Administrative Coordinators (Immigration Law). You'll also work closely with broader Manifest law operations to design the processes and systems this workstream runs on.

This role is built for someone with 4+ years of corporate employment-based immigration experience across a broad range of IV and NIV case types, who's ready to step into people management. You won't just inherit a process — you'll help build it. And as we grow, this role grows: real opportunity to expand into broader immigration and Manifest operations exposure, take on more of the workstream, and build your own track within the firm.

What You'll Do - MPOC Oversight: Own day-to-day supervision of the MPOC workflow, drawing corporate employment-based immigration experience across a broad range of IV and NIV case types to ensure requests and cases are triaged, tracked, and resolved accurately and on time; serve as the escalation point when the team needs support. - Case Lifecycle Knowledge: Bring working knowledge of the case lifecycle post-filing — knowing what needs to happen after a case has been sent out, tracking it through to adjudication, and ensuring original documents are processed and returned to the right place without delay. Support both the B2B and B2C teams on this piece of the process. - Filing & Quality Control: Oversee hands-on filing processes — volume, workflow, and turnaround — and build in quality-checking steps to ensure accuracy before and after filing. - People Management: Directly supervise MPOC team members, including Administrative Coordinators — hiring support, onboarding, training, coaching, and regular performance check-ins. - Process Building: Design, document, and refine the MPOC workflow from the ground floor, working closely with broader Manifest law operations to align on standards, tools, and systems as the function scales. - Systems & Quality: Identify and implement systems and tools to support the team's growth; monitor quality and consistency of work product, and hold the team to firm standards. - Cross-Functional Partnership: Work alongside attorneys, paralegals, and operations leaders to ensure MPOC work supports the broader immigration practice; represent the function in cross-team planning. - Growth & Scale: Take on increasing scope in people management, process ownership, and operational exposure as the team and workstream grow — this role is built to expand alongside the firm. - Shipping Support: Occasionally drive applications and case materials to a FedEx store to ensure timely, accurate shipping when needed.

What We’re Looking For - 4+ years of corporate employment-based immigration experience, with broad exposure to both immigrant (IV) and nonimmigrant (NIV) case types. - Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree also considered. - Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in our North Phoenix location. - Working knowledge of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa (NIV/IV) processes within a B2B (business/corporate) immigration context — Senior Paralegal-level background preferred. - Hands-on experience with non-electronic (paper) filing — comfortable managing volume, following a defined filing process, and quality-checking work before it goes out. - Experience handling case documents through final preparation and filing, and familiarity with what happens after a case is approved — including processing and returning original documents post-adjudication. - Comfortable owning outbound mail, printing, and shipping logistics (including handling shipments directly) as part of daily operations. - Prior experience or genuine readiness to lead — this is a strong fit for someone taking their first formal step into people management. - Sharp attention to detail and a service-minded approach. - Strong organizational skills; able to build structure in ambiguity and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. - Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to manage up, down, and across teams. - Comfortable with office and case-management technology; proactive about learning and improving systems. - Collaborative, team-first attitude, with a genuine interest in building and growing something from the ground up.

Why Join Manifest - Ground-floor ownership of the MPOC workflow — you'll help define how it works, not just follow existing rules - Growth trajectory — as the firm and workstream scale, so does the scope of this role, with a path into broader Manifest law operations leadership - Direct exposure to both people management and operational/process design early in your career - Cross-functional visibility across immigration and Manifest law operations, broadening your experience beyond a single lane
