Responsible for operating a Company vehicle to deliver products to customers and performing warehouse activities including parts pulling, staging, and loading/stocking of trucks. Essential Job Duties - Receives labels from the supervisor for parts to be pulled for the assigned route. - Pulls parts from the appropriate bins and delivers them to the staging area for loading. - Operates a forklift or order selector to transport parts in and about the warehouse. - Loads truck according to the delivery schedule and performs a final check-off of parts loaded. - Sorts and places parts and supplies on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence. - Respond to customer counter sales immediately by receiving orders, pulling products and loading them into the customer vehicle. - Verifies in-stock position on product for inside sales staff. - Drives a company box truck to deliver parts to customer locations. - Physically loads truck at the branch and verifies the condition of the truck, manifest and other paperwork associated with deliveries to be made. - Drives to the delivery destination and physically unloads truck and verifies parts unloaded. Picks up returned parts and collects customer payments as necessary. - Assume other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities - Not responsible for supervising employees.

Basic Qualifications

Education & Experience - 6+ months of related warehouse experience. - Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record. - Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance. - Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations. - Must be at least 21 years of age. - Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (“DOT”) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (“FMCSA”) regulations.

Preferred Qualifications   - High school graduate or GED equivalent. -  Forklift certification/experience and knowledge of RF scanners are helpful.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities   - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. - Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. - Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records. - Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures. - Decisions generally affect one's own job or assigned functional area. - Uses guidance/guidelines provided by supervisor/manager. - Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to drive a vehicle most of the time. - Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods (up to 12 hours at a time); use hands to operate machinery. - May need to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods. - The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. - Frequent exposure to contaminants such as fuel or exhaust. May occasionally wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. - May need to work in cramped spaces that could require getting into awkward positions. - May be exposed to extreme temperatures, extreme lighting, and high noise levels. - Daily travel will be required by drivers making deliveries and extensive overnight travel may be required.
