As a Child Care Teacher, you'll play a vital role in fostering children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and want to build a rewarding career working with young children. Requirements & Responsibilities - This is an entry-level position for candidates passionate about supporting the growth and development of young children. - Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or other education in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Teaching, or a related field. - Current First Aid, Adult/Child/Infant CPR, and AED certification required (or ability to obtain). Must pass required background checks, TB test, and obtain a Food Handler Permit. - One to two years of experience working with children ages birth to six years required. - Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment. - Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development. - Adapt learning experiences to meet the individual needs of each child and encourage positive social interactions. - Maintain a clean, organized, and child-safe classroom while ensuring active supervision at all times. - Collaborate with families and team members to support child development and maintain effective communication.
Schedule - Full-time position with 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. - Start and end times may vary based on classroom needs and program requirements. - Year-round program operating on a 247-day calendar. - Flexibility to support classroom coverage and changing program needs is expected.
