Job description
K&S Tire Recycling in Chicago Heights, IL is hiring dependable Class A CDL Drivers for local and regional tire collection and transportation.
Responsibilities: - Safely operate tractor-trailers and Class A vehicles - Complete assigned pickup and delivery routes - Transport tires and recyclable materials - Perform drop-and-hook and trailer positioning as required - Secure loads and inspect equipment - Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections - Maintain accurate BOLs, manifests and service documentation - Obtain signatures and required service photos - Communicate delays, equipment issues and customer concerns - Maintain clean, safe equipment and professional customer service
Requirements - Valid Class A CDL - Acceptable driving record - Ability to meet DOT/FMCSA driver requirements - Tractor-trailer driving experience - Knowledge of commercial vehicle inspections and safety - Ability to complete paperwork/electronic documentation - Dependable attendance and punctuality
Recycling, waste, drop-and-hook or local/regional transportation experience preferred.
Benefits
We offer accrued sick/vacation time.
Compensation $1000-2000 per week.
