Mid-Senior Manual QA Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Mid-Senior Manual QA Engineer to join a core Testing team and contribute to the quality and reliability of modern web applications.

The role focuses primarily on manual testing , covering functional, regression, and integration testing, while also offering the opportunity to contribute to Business Analysis activities and work closely with both technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities - Design and execute manual test cases and test scenarios - Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across different application levels - Design test strategies and test plans for new features and application changes - Plan and coordinate testing cycles - Analyze functional requirements and specifications to identify appropriate testing scenarios - Log, track, and support the resolution of defects in collaboration with development teams - Document test results, findings, and identified issues clearly and accurately - Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and other project stakeholders - Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices - Support Business Analysis activities when required

Requirements - University degree in Computer Science or a related field - 3+ years of professional experience in manual testing of web applications - Strong experience designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios - Good knowledge of functional, regression, and integration testing - Ability to understand functional specifications and complex business requirements - Good understanding of Business Analysis concepts - Experience with defect tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps - Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing - Ability to clearly document defects, test results, and findings - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams

Nice to Have - Previous experience in banking or fintech environments - Familiarity with regulatory and auditing requirements within financial services - Knowledge of or experience with test automation tools
