Manager of Supplies Authentication Systems

Description -

The Manager of Supplies Authentication Systems leads the development, operation, and modernization of HP's authentication infrastructure and software platforms that support secure supplies manufacturing, personalization, and product authentication. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure delivery of authentication technologies while leading a highly technical engineering team and driving continuous improvement across processes, tools, and cloud-based services

Key Responsibilities - Lead the Authentication Systems team responsible for secure microcontroller infrastructure, production and prototype personalization (Perso) recipes, authentication applications, and supporting software services - Ensure uninterrupted operation of mission-critical authentication systems that directly support HP Print and Supplies business objectives - Drive modernization initiatives focused on improving quality, reducing cost, simplifying processes, increasing scalability, and reducing operational complexity - Lead cloud-based authentication and cryptographic service initiatives that strengthen HP's authentication technology portfolio and future business value proposition - Manage strategic supplier and partner relationships required to support authentication production and deployment activities - Develop and execute technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business priorities, new product introductions, quality objectives, and operational requirements - Establish business continuity, succession planning, cross-training, and knowledge transfer strategies to reduce organizational risk and eliminate single points of failure

Success Measures - Reliable delivery of authentication platforms, personalization infrastructure, recipes, and software services. - Measurable improvements in quality, cost, efficiency, and scalability through modernization efforts. - Strong business continuity and succession readiness. - High team engagement, capability growth, and achievement of organizational goals. - Successful execution of strategic authentication and cloud security initiatives supporting current and future HP supplies programs

Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree in relevant area and demonstrated competence. - 7-10 years of Software Engineering experience.

Salary

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
