Position Overview
We are seeking a Child Social Worker (LMSW) to provide mental health services to patients aged 6 and above in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This hybrid position offers flexible scheduling with only one on-site day required weekly. Bilingual candidates are required.
Key Responsibilities - Provide psychosocial assessments and therapeutic services to children aged 6+ - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans - Maintain active Medicaid provider status - Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members - Provide culturally competent care to diverse populations - Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes - Conduct family sessions and provide support to caregivers
Requirements - Education: Master of Social Work from an accredited program - Licensure: Active New York State LMSW License - Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with children aged 6 and above - Requirements: Must have an active Medicaid; Bilingual (mandatory) - Technical Skills: Child psychosocial assessments, evidence-based therapies, case management - Soft Skills: Cultural competence, empathy, strong communication with children and families, collaborative approach
