We're looking for a hands-on growth marketer who can help us identify, build, test, and scale the next generation of customer acquisition channels across both organizations.
The Opportunity
We are hiring a Director of Growth Marketing to take ownership of customer acquisition, demand generation, and marketing-driven revenue growth.
This is not a traditional marketing management role and currently has no direct reports.
We're looking for a highly capable individual contributor who likes to build, test, execute, measure, and optimize. You should be comfortable moving from strategy to execution without waiting for a large team to implement your ideas.
The right candidate will constantly be asking:
Where can we find more qualified customers, what message will get their attention, and how do we acquire them profitably at scale?
You will work directly with senior leadership and collaborate closely with sales, operations, technology, outside agencies, and vendors. You'll have significant autonomy, but with that autonomy comes accountability for measurable results.
What You'll Own
Growth & Customer Acquisition - Develop and execute growth marketing strategies designed to generate qualified leads, pipeline, and revenue. - Identify and test new customer acquisition channels, audiences, offers, partnerships, and campaigns. - Build scalable demand-generation programs across paid, organic, email, content, referral, partner, and other channels. - Continuously test messaging, creative, landing pages, offers, audiences, and conversion paths. - Find opportunities to improve customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, lead quality, and marketing ROI. - Develop strategies for reaching business owners and decision-makers within our target markets.
Demand Generation & Funnel Optimization - Own the marketing funnel from initial customer acquisition through qualified lead and sales opportunity. - Partner closely with sales leadership to understand lead quality, conversion rates, sales feedback, and revenue outcomes. - Build lead nurturing, retargeting, email, and lifecycle campaigns that move prospects through the funnel. - Identify conversion bottlenecks and develop experiments to improve performance. - Help create stronger alignment between marketing activity and actual closed revenue.
Performance Marketing - Help manage and optimize paid acquisition across relevant channels, including search, social, display, retargeting, and emerging platforms. - Evaluate campaigns based on economics rather than vanity metrics. - Work with agencies and outside specialists where appropriate while maintaining internal ownership of strategy and performance. - Monitor CAC, CPL, conversion rates, ROAS, pipeline contribution, and marketing-sourced revenue.
Marketing Operations & Analytics - Build clear reporting around marketing performance and funnel economics. - Maintain strong attribution and tracking across campaigns and channels. - Use CRM and marketing automation systems to segment audiences, nurture leads, and measure results. - Turn performance data into actionable recommendations. - Establish dashboards and KPIs that allow leadership to quickly understand what's working, what's not, and where we should invest next.
Content, Messaging & Sales Enablement - Develop compelling offers, campaigns, and messaging for business owners and financial decision-makers. - Work with internal and external resources to create landing pages, email campaigns, case studies, webinars, sales materials, and other conversion-focused content. - Translate complex financial and tax-related products into clear, credible, benefit-driven marketing. - Support new product and service launches with go-to-market campaigns.
Requirements - 5+ years of B2B growth marketing, demand generation, performance marketing, or customer acquisition experience. - A demonstrated track record of generating qualified leads, pipeline, and revenue. - Strong understanding of paid acquisition, conversion optimization, email/lifecycle marketing, and marketing funnels. - Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce. - Strong analytical skills and comfort working with marketing and sales data. - Experience measuring CAC, CPL, conversion rates, attribution, ROAS, and marketing-sourced revenue. - The ability to independently move from an idea to a live campaign without requiring a large internal team. - Strong copy, messaging, and communication instincts. - High level of initiative, curiosity, accountability, and bias toward action.
