Job Description:

The Manager, Enterprise Platform Operations is responsiblefor leading the teams and technologies that provide thefoundational infrastructure supporting enterpriseapplications, digital platforms, and business operationsacross Dave & Buster's and Main Event.

This role combines hands-on technical leadership withpeople management responsibilities and serves as theoperational owner of enterprise infrastructure services,cloud platforms, networking, identity services, and coreplatform operations. The position requires senior-leveltechnical depth across modern infrastructure technologies,along with the ability to lead engineers, establishoperational standards, drive infrastructure modernizationefforts, and partner closely with Architecture, PlatformEngineering, DevSecOps, SRE, Security, and EnterpriseApplications teams.

The ideal candidate is a highly technical player-coachcapable of providing strategic direction, mentoringtechnical staff, and actively participating in complexinfrastructure design, troubleshooting, and modernizationinitiatives.

Responsibilities Technical Leadership - Serve as the senior technical leader for enterprise infrastructure and platform operations. - Provide architectural and operational guidance across cloud, networking, systems, andidentity platforms. - Establish infrastructure standards, best practices, and operational procedures. - Mentor infrastructure engineers and provide technical leadership on enterprise initiatives. - Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for future platform investments. - Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure infrastructure standards align with enterprisetechnology direction.

Cloud & Infrastructure Operations - Lead Azure infrastructure operations and administration. - Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective. - Develop infrastructure roadmaps aligned to business and technology strategy. - Manage lifecycle planning for infrastructure services and platforms. - Drive cloud optimization and modernization initiatives. - Establish infrastructure governance and operational controls.

Network & Platform Services - Lead enterprise networking operations and modernization efforts. - Ensure performance, availability, and resiliency of enterprise network services. - Oversee DNS, identity, certificate management, and core platform services. - Manage vendor relationships and escalation processes for critical infrastructure systems. - Establish standards for network, cloud, and identity services.

Reliability & Operational Excellence - Drive infrastructure reliability and operational maturity. - Establish monitoring standards, operational metrics, and service health reporting. - Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and problem management activities. - Partner with Site Reliability Engineering teams to improve system availability and resiliency. - Develop disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities. - Improve automation and reduce operational toil through modern operational practices.

Infrastructure Modernization & Automation - Lead enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives. - Identify opportunities to automate operational processes. - Promote Infrastructure as Code and operational automation practices. - Collaborate with DevSecOps and Platform Engineering teams to improve deployment andoperational workflows. - Establish repeatable operational processes that improve efficiency and scalability.

Security & Compliance - Ensure infrastructure services align with enterprise security standards and policies. - Support audit, compliance, and regulatory initiatives. - Partner with Cybersecurity teams to implement operational security controls. - Lead remediation efforts for infrastructure vulnerabilities and risks. - Ensure identity, network, and cloud security best practices are consistently applied.

People Leadership - Lead, coach, and develop infrastructure engineering team members. - Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement. - Recruit and retain high-performing technical talent. - Establish development plans and career growth opportunities for team members. - Build succession plans for key operational and engineering roles.

Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relateddiscipline. - 10+ years of infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, or enterprise platform operationsexperience. - 3+ years of technical leadership and people management experience. - Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterpriseinfrastructure environments. - Deep experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services. - Strong enterprise networking expertise. - Strong Windows Server administration and infrastructure lifecycle management experience. - Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory environments. - Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical production environments. - Experience with enterprise monitoring, operational support, and incident management. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in a distributed restaurant, retail, or entertainment environment - Experience with Azure-native services including: Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall,Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Policy, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, Azure DataFactory, App Services - Experience with Meraki networking platforms, Fortinet firewall and security platforms, Mistwireless networking solutions, Nutanix infrastructure platforms - Experience with PowerShell, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Automation frameworks - Experience supporting retail, hospitality, entertainment, or multi-site operationalenvironments. - Experience leading infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation programs.
