Position Summary

We are looking for a technology-focused Senior Manager, Technology Delivery   to drive the successful execution of complex technology initiatives across both product and project delivery environments. In this role, you will lead large-scale technology projects, product teams, and Agile scrum teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes that align with business objectives. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and delivering initiatives while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle and project delivery process.

The ideal candidate is outcome-focused, consistently aligning teams to business goals and measurable results. They proactively identify opportunities to create value, solve problems, and remove obstacles that may impact delivery. Success in this role requires the ability to build strong relationships across teams, foster collaboration, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

This individual must be adaptable in their approach, tailoring delivery methods to the needs of the initiative while maintaining appropriate rigor in areas such as planning, governance, risk management, and execution. They are a strong communicator and   facilitator   who   thrives   in both Agile and traditional delivery environments, drives accountability, and helps teams consistently deliver on their commitments.

Responsibilities

- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define objectives, desired outcomes, scope, and success measures for initiatives.   - Drive complex work from concept to execution, helping teams quickly establish direction, alignment, and momentum.   - Facilitate planning and delivery activities, ensuring appropriate levels of rigor in areas such as scope, milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, and team commitments.   - Keep teams focused on delivering measurable business value, continuously aligning priorities and execution plans to   desired   outcomes.   - Proactively identify obstacles, risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve results, driving resolution and escalation when needed.   - Adapt delivery   approaches to   the needs of the initiative, balancing agility and flexibility with strong execution discipline and governance.   - Build trusted relationships across business, technology, product, and vendor teams to foster collaboration, alignment, and shared accountability.   - Lead, coach, and motivate teams to deliver commitments, remove impediments, and achieve objectives in a predictable and sustainable manner.   - Facilitate productive discussions and decision-making, ensuring stakeholders remain focused on key priorities, tradeoffs, risks, and outcomes.   - Manage resource plans, financials, and delivery forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives and funding commitments.   - Protect initiative objectives through effective scope management, prioritization, and change management practices.   - Monitor delivery performance, quality, and progress, identifying opportunities to improve team effectiveness and execution.   - Communicate status, risks, decisions, and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders and leadership.   - Conduct retrospectives, lessons learned, and post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement and organizational learning.   - Collaborate across   product ,   project , engineering, architecture, operations, and business teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of outcomes.

Required Qualifications    - 7+ years of experience in project management   - History of successfully delivering complex   technical   projects   - Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, such as PMBOK, Agile, Scrum,   etc   - A ble to manage   different   projects which leverage different methodologies     - Proficient in MS Project, MS Office, and other project management software and applications   - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment   - Strong ability to effectively manage risk and change

Preferred Qualifications    - Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with tech n ical and non-technical audiences.   - Proficient in the use of work management tools such as JIRA and Rally   - Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.   - Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP )   or equivalent is preferred.

Education   - Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $236,900.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
