Position Summary
Cortland Plastics International is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to keep production machinery, support equipment and facility systems operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities - Troubleshoot and repair production machinery. - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. - Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems. - Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems. - Read and interpret electrical schematics. - Maintain blow-molding and auxiliary equipment. - Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime. - Perform inspections and scheduled maintenance. - Maintain accurate maintenance records. - Work closely with Production and Process Technicians to resolve equipment issues. - Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
Requirements - Previous industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience required. - Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. - Experience with electrical systems and schematics. - Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. - Experience repairing manufacturing machinery. - Blow-molding or plastics manufacturing experience is a strong advantage. - Ability to work independently and respond to equipment emergencies.
