Location: 4605 Buena Vista Road, Bakersfield, CA Work Location: On-Site Schedule: Full-Time Pay Rate: $25–$32 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview

TruBlue Home Service Ally is looking for an experienced Handyman / Home Service Technician to join our team in Bakersfield, CA.

In this role, you’ll help homeowners keep their properties safe, functional, and looking their best by completing a variety of repair, maintenance, and home improvement projects. We’re looking for an experienced professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, communicates well with customers, and can confidently work independently across a range of residential projects.

Responsibilities - Perform residential handyman repairs, maintenance, and home improvement projects - Complete carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work - Diagnose home maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions - Complete assigned projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship - Safely transport tools and materials to customer locations - Maintain a clean and professional work environment - Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners - Build positive relationships with customers through reliable and courteous service - Follow company procedures and applicable safety standards - Work independently while collaborating with the team when needed

Requirements

Must Have - 5+ years of relevant handyman or carpentry experience - Must own a reliable truck suitable for transporting tools and materials - Fluent in English with legal authorization to work in the U.S. - Willingness to undergo a thorough background check and drug screening

Nice to Have - Experience working with countertops, including installations and repairs - Experience with tiling, including laying and grouting tiles for various projects
