The Product Manager Senior would have a BA/BS in Business Administration or relevant field with 10+ years' experience in a product management position in healthcare, or equivalent combination of education and experience. For technology specific roles experience in consumer-facing software & services or a start-up environment preferred. Must have experience that aligns directly to the products being managed. MBA preferred.
Skills and Attributes: - Proven product management experience, with demonstrated success in complex product environments (healthcare experience preferred) - Understanding of AI/ML (including Generative AI) concepts, capabilities, and limitations—you know what's possible and what's hype - Experience with the unique considerations of AI/ML product development lifecycles - Experience working directly with technology teams in a product owner or similar capacity - Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business problems into data and AI solution opportunities - Effective communication skills, particularly in explaining AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Experience creating and maintaining product documentation, requirements, and acceptance criteria - Proven ability to manage product backlogs and prioritize features based on business value - Familiarity with AI ethics, responsible AI principles, and governance frameworks - Experience tracking and reporting AI/ML metrics aligned to evaluation frameworks - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and facilitating sprint ceremonies - Execution excellence—you can deliver on the details while understanding the bigger picture - Excellent interpersonal with demonstrated ability to facilitate team discussions and build effective working relationships with individuals and groups at all levels - Demonstrated project management skills including effective planning, organizing, and administration of multi-functional work responsibilities. - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including formal presentations and the facilitation of group planning sessions.
What You Will Do At Cambia: - Product Strategy & Roadmap Management: Define and manage product roadmaps, prioritization processes, and sprint planning across multiple products while contributing to long-term vision and driving organizational strategy changes - Requirements Development & Documentation: Synthesize business requirements from diverse sources (customers, brokers, sales teams, healthcare experts) into functional specifications, user stories, wireframes, and agile project plans - Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration: Direct product management activities and coordinate with marketing, UX, engineering, and category management teams to develop company-wide go-to-market plans and execute product launches - Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct primary and secondary research to understand target markets, user needs, competitor positioning, and industry developments; infuse differentiating insights into product strategy - Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee products from planning through tactical execution, including market positioning, benefit design, pricing parameters, risk profiles, and regulatory responses - Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop core metrics for engagement, performance, customer behavior, and conversion; use analytics to shape product design, track effectiveness, and take immediate action on non-performing products - Stakeholder Management & Communication: Serve as primary product relationship manager across departments, represent the team at conferences and events, and influence strategy alignment across divisions - Customer Experience Optimization: Develop and deploy strategies to improve customer acquisition, engagement, and retention while guiding UX design and solution development - Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks; anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and balance business needs against technical constraints - Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead product discovery efforts, continuously improve team processes, mentor others in domain expertise and strategy, and operate autonomously while managing resource requirements and organizational strategies
Pay ranges vary based on the candidate's work location. The expected hiring range depends on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. - Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Idaho : The expected hiring range is $140K - $175K, the full salary range is $140K - $228K, and the bonus target is 20%.
