Brown & Brown   is seeking a   Real Estate Account Manager   to join our growing team in   Philadelphia, PA!   This is a hybrid role.

The Account Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to clients within Brown & Brown’s real estate practice,   providing   consultative risk management guidance. The role will require working directly with producers, carriers, underwriters, and our internal specialty distribution program in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of middle-market commercial real estate accounts and   operate   with a high degree of independence.

How You Will Contribute :     - Building and   maintaining   strong relationships with internal and external customers by providing quality service and meeting client expectations .   - Utilizing   Commercial Property & Casualty insurance knowledge, with an emphasis on real estate risks, to actively service existi ng accounts and   identify   opportunities to round out client relationships .   - Managing   appropriate system   records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers within Applied Epic .   - Participating   in the retention of renewal business by working with producers and clients to prepare specifications, applications, underwriting data, and related information in the marketing of insurance products .   - Ensuring clients   maintain   continuous and   appropriate coverage   and   advising   clients of coverage recommendations, requirements, and outstanding items .   - Reviewing current policies and providing recommendations   regarding   coverage, limits, deductibles, and placement options based on client exposures and contractual requirements .   - Marketing and negotiating accounts with insurance carriers and underwriters to obtain competitive coverage, terms, and pricing .   - Supporting the implementation of new lines of coverage by setting up accounts, collecting needed documentation, and reviewing coverage details with clients and carriers .   - Executing coverage analysis as needed and providing clients and producers with   accurate   quotations and recommendations for   additional   coverage .   - Developing and   maintaining   knowledge of real estate industry trends, emerging exposures, carrier appetites, and marketplace conditions .   - Mentoring and providing guidance to Assistant Account Managers to promote consistent service standards and technical accuracy .   - Taking ownership of complex client issues and working collaboratively with internal and external partners to develop   timely   and effective solutions .

Licenses   &   Certifications:    - Active Property & Casualty insurance license .   - Industry-specific designations preferred – CISR, CIC, ARM, or similar .

Skills & Experience to   b e Successful:   - 5+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience, preferably with experience managing middle-market commercial real estate accounts .   - College degree preferred .   - Proficient in insurance agency management systems; Applied Epic experience preferred .   - Strong knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty underwriting, coverage, and rate analysis/procedures .   - Experience with commercial real estate risks, including property, general liability, umbrella/excess liability,   builders   risk, flood, Directors & Officers, and other specialty   coverages   preferred .   - Ability to clearly articulate insurance products, coverage recommendations, and policy terms to clients, producers, and underwriters .   - Strong understanding of marketplace trends and best practices to best meet client needs .   - Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment .
