Data Engineer, Senior The Opportunity:

Supports the develop ment and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to supply data for business analysis. Applies advanced theories, principles, and concepts to solve highly complex problems and contributes to the develop ment of new approaches. Provides technical oversight and architectural guidance for data ingestion and processing pipelines, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and governance frameworks. Acts as a technical liaison between engineering teams, delivery managers, and stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet expectations and requirements. Maintains responsibility for supervision and develop ment of first-level supervisors and managers.

You Have: - Experience with designing, constructing, and optimizing scalable, high-performance data pipelines and data infrastructure - Experience with providing technical oversight and architectural direction for data engineering projects - Experience with supervising and develop ing first-level supervisors and managers - Experience with Advana or War Data Platform - Experience with Python and Databricks environments - Knowledge of data catalog management and met adata tools for maintaining data lineage and discoverability - Ability to evaluate, validate, and communicate technical solutions in data engineering without hands-on coding - Ability to interact with stakeholders in technical discussions, answer inquiries, and ensure technical alignment - Secret clearance - Bachelor’s degree and 5+ of experience with data ingest and pipelines, or 10+ years of experience with data ingest and pipelines in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
