Collaborates closely with the IDS Pharmacists to ensure appropriate handling, preparation, packaging and labeling of investigational drug products • Performs all activities with the oversight of a licensed pharmacist.

Note: Pharmacy Intern License or Pharmacy Technician Registration is required • Both are not required

Education Note:

Preferred- Bachelor of Arts/Science. Relevant experience in pharmacy operations, Investigational Drug Services (IDS), clinical research, hospital pharmacy, oncology research, or healthcare system operations may be considered based on experience, registration, training, and demonstrated competencies related to the position.

Experience Note:

Pharmacy Technician Experience required: 2 years. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in Investigational Drug Services (IDS), research, clinical trials, hospital pharmacy, sterile compounding, or clinical research required. Additional IDS, investigational medication, oncology research, multi-site research, and research-system experience is preferred.

Preferred:

IDS experience, sterile compounding experience/training, and national pharmacy technician certification are preferred as applicable.
