Position Summary: This job is responsible for developing or managing data sets, supporting reporting and analysis, and assisting with modeling activities to help manage risk and minimize losses. Key responsibilities include analyzing portfolio trends, developing data sets or queries to extract data, and supporting the curation of data for internal and external reporting needs. Job expectations include supporting new information and insights, often through statistical analysis. The Consumer and Small Business Credit Risk Data, Reporting, and Operations team delivers repeatable, sustainable, and well-controlled processes that support effective risk management across Consumer and Small Business products, including Credit Cards, Home Loans, Consumer Vehicle Lending, Deposits, and Small Business solutions. Our team partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to provide data-driven insights, produce reporting solutions, and support continuous process improvements that enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and risk oversight to meet evolving business needs while maintaining strong governance and control standards.

Responsibilities: - Supports reporting to allow risk and business partners to effectively identify and manage risk - Analyzes information to support data design, portfolio trends, loss trends, and portfolio dynamics to support alignment with business strategies - Assists product strategic initiatives affecting multiple risk functions and lines of business to ensure company goals are met - Provides analytical support and utilizes analytical techniques to aggregate data - Supports with responding to requests for information from both internal and external parties - Provides assistance to remediate data quality issues by providing analytical support and assistance to cross-functional efforts - Helps monitor the outputs of controls and supports the investigation of alerts from control checks - Produce and maintain production-critical monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc credit risk reports that deliver accurate and timely information to stakeholders. - Execute established reporting processes using SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other reporting tools to support ongoing business and risk management needs. - Extract, transform, reconcile, and validate data from multiple sources in accordance with established governance and control standards. - Perform audit-level quality assurance, data validations, and control procedures to ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity. - Support portfolio monitoring activities by identifying trends, anomalies, and data quality concerns and escalating issues as appropriate. - Partner with business stakeholders and senior team members to support reporting enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement initiatives. - Document procedures and support compliance with enterprise governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills: • Bachelor's degree • 0-2+ years of Reporting, Data Management, Analytics, Risk Management, or related experience • Working knowledge of SAS, SQL, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to perform data QA, execute audit-level validations, and follow governance requirements • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within established timelines • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Desired Skills: • Credit Risk or Consumer Lending experience • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other Business Intelligence tools • Experience working with large datasets and relational databases • Knowledge of reporting lifecycle and production support processes • Understanding of data governance and data quality concepts • Experience documenting procedures and business processes • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities • Experience using Agile, Jira, or other project tracking tools • Strong attention to detail • Collaboration and partnership skills • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and reporting methodologies
