Position Overview

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Named Accounts, the Customer Success Manager is a member of Autodesk's Education Named Accounts team, responsible for helping assigned higher-education institutions adopt Autodesk solutions and realize measurable value. Working within account strategy and priorities set by the Senior Manager and Senior Account Manager, this role translates adoption opportunities into success plans and drives them through execution — partnering closely with customers and with Autodesk's account, technical, product, learning, marketing, and support teams. Success requires strong customer success discipline, clear communication, analytical problem-solving, and proactive execution.

Key Responsibilities

Adoption Realization & Customer Success Execution - Own execution of customer success and adoption-realization plans for assigned Named Accounts, translating defined account and course-adoption priorities into clear actions, milestones, and success measures - Plan and execute onboarding, training, enablement, and other activities that help customers adopt Autodesk solutions and integrate them into courses, curricula, and programs - Coordinate Autodesk technical resources, product experts, and Learning Partners to support adoption; proactively identify barriers, drive resolution, and escalate issues requiring broader account or strategic intervention

Adoption Health & Insights - Monitor product usage, course adoption, and customer engagement to assess adoption health - Analyze adoption trends and customer feedback to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities; report findings and recommendations to the account team - Capture outcomes, proof points, and success stories, and contribute insights to customer QBRs and account planning

Customer & Team Partnership - Build trusted relationships with educators, faculty, curriculum leaders, and IT stakeholders involved in adoption - Partner with the Senior Account Manager on customer priorities and adoption strategy; share context, progress, and risks with the broader account team - Maintain customer success documentation and account information; apply feedback to continuously build product, technical, and customer success skills

What Success Looks Like - Takes independent ownership of assigned adoption realization plans and follows through on commitments without requiring day-to-day direction - Uses data and judgment to assess adoption health, recommend action, and know when to resolve an issue independently versus escalate - Focuses on measurable customer outcomes and realized value, not just completion of activities

Minimum Qualifications - 4 years experience in customer success, technology adoption, implementation, enablement, or a related customer-facing discipline - Experience helping customers implement, adopt, and realize value from technology solutions - Familiarity with Autodesk products, platforms, or learning ecosystems (e.g., Fusion, Forma) - Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret adoption data and customer feedback and recommend action - Strong relationship-building and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders - Ability to manage multiple customer initiatives independently in a matrixed organization - Ability to travel to customer institutions and Autodesk events, up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications - Experience with higher-education institutions, educators, or academic technology programs - Experience developing adoption plans, success metrics, or enablement program
