The hourly pay rate for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour , depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.

Description:

Join our amazing team at  Cottage Pet Hospital  as the next great step in your career. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves animals and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education , and being a positive and supportive team member.

Requirements: - Registered Veterinary Technicians (license must be current) - 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience (required)  - Strong anesthesia monitoring experience. - Highly skilled at teaching, training, and mentoring vet tech knowledge and skills with staff - Experience with inventory for surgeries and back-of-the-house medications and supplies - Understands surgery scheduling, and helps to control each surgery's flow to stay on track - Full-time position - Must be available to work weekends
