Project Manager - Commercial Interior Construction

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial interior construction projects from contract award through final closeout.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing projects involving drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, and interior finish systems . This role will oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, documentation, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Responsibilities - Manage commercial interior construction projects from contract award through completion and closeout. - Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and execution strategies. - Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to confirm scope and identify potential issues. - Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams. - Monitor project budgets, labor productivity, material procurement, subcontractor performance, and overall financial performance. - Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, billing, and project documentation. - Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance. - Identify project risks and develop solutions to minimize cost, schedule, and quality impacts. - Lead project meetings and provide clear updates to clients, stakeholders, and company leadership. - Coordinate with estimating and operations teams to ensure accurate project handoff and execution. - Oversee punch-list completion, final documentation, turnover, and project closeout. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, vendors, and internal teams.

Requirements - 3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial interior construction. - Hands-on experience managing projects involving drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior finishes . - Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and project execution. - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project documents. - Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, clients, and multiple projects simultaneously. - Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project , or similar platforms. - Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. - Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
