We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial drywall and metal framing projects from contract award through final closeout.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing projects involving commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and interior finish systems . This role will oversee scheduling, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, project documentation, and client communication while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities - Manage commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and interior finish projects from award through completion. - Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and execution strategies. - Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to confirm scope and identify potential issues. - Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams. - Monitor project budgets, labor productivity, material procurement, subcontractor performance, and overall financial performance. - Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, pay applications, and project documentation. - Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule progress. - Identify project risks and implement solutions to minimize cost, schedule, and quality impacts. - Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients, stakeholders, and company leadership. - Oversee punch-list completion, warranty items, final documentation, turnover, and closeout. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, suppliers, and internal teams.
Requirements - 3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior construction. - Commercial drywall and metal framing project management experience is required. - Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, procurement, and cost control. - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. - Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously. - Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project , or similar platforms. - Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
