Internship Opportunity: Startup & AI Operating Model @ ZEISS (f/m/x)

Job description

Your role We are looking for a curious, hands-on intern for 6 Months to support the development of a ZEISS startup initiative with a strong focus on AI — It’s not just about using a few AI tools, but designing ways of working where AI increasingly takes over parts of day to day execution.

- What you’ll work on:

- Supporting the setup and development of a ZEISS internal startup approach

- Contributing ideas on how to define guardrails for “Startup @ ZEISS”

- Supporting the design of an AI first Operating Model

- Bringing in fresh perspectives, challenging existing approaches, and actively shaping new structures

Your profile

- You are currently enrolled as a student (Bachelor’s or Master’s)

- Ideally, your studies include a focus/specialization in Entrepreneurship, AI, Innovation, Startups, Digital Transformation, Business/Tech, or a related field

- Strong interest in startups, innovation, and corporate entrepreneurship

- Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and digital transformation

- A structured but creative mindset – you like to think big and make things concrete

- Proactive, hands on attitude and confidence in sharing ideas

- Very good communication skills in English
