Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking an Associate, Operations (East Branch) - North Texas & Oklahoma to join TR's Programs x Domestic Operations - East Branch team! The Associate, Operations will collaboratively and cooperatively work within their team and on cross-functional teams. This will require working with competing priorities and keeping multiple stakeholders appraising of decisions. This Associate, Operations will build relationships with community partners in emergency management, VOAD and local disaster assistance organizations in Oklahoma (OK) and North Texas (TX), including Amarillo, Lubbock, Abilene, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Tyler Metro Areas. This position reports to TR’s Manager, Operations (East Branch) and is remote preferably based within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Area; within Northeast Texas (TX), or Oklahoma (OK). General Duties: <ul> <li>Execute Team Rubicon’s strategy to enhance our ability to respond rapidly and locally to disasters.</li> <li>Develop and maintain relationships with disaster assistance organizations at the state, county, and city levels.</li> <li>Support program delivery of the leadership lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, and development of Greyshirt volunteer leaders.</li> <li>Purchasing and expenses according to the Branch budget plan and approving events in the system.</li> <li>As needed, provide emergency operations center (EOC) support, and disaster response coordination across relevant agencies.</li> </ul> Disaster Response Coordination Duties: <ul> <li>Provide direct support in coordinating response activities with local, state, federal, and non-governmental agencies. </li> <li>Assist in developing and implementing disaster response strategies, ensuring resources are deployed efficiently. </li> <li>Facilitate communication between field operations, the emergency operations center (EOC), and external stakeholders.</li> </ul> Education and Background: <ul> <li><span data-ccp-charstyle="normaltextrun" data-ccp-charstyle-defn="{"ObjectId":"ac0262f4-8a9e-5820-b908-2d943c5f7113|1","ClassId":1073872969,"Properties":[201342446,"1",201342447,"5",201342448,"1",201342449,"1",469777841,"Arial",469777842,"",469777843,"Arial",469777844,"Arial",201341986,"1",469769226,"Arial",268442635,"24",469775450,"normaltextrun",201340122,"1",134233614,"true",469778129,"normaltextrun",335572020,"1",469778324,"Default Paragraph Font"]}">1-3 years of relevant professional experience in the military, disaster response, emergency management or first responder fields<span data-ccp-charstyle="eop" data-ccp-charstyle-defn="{"ObjectId":"920dbcde-2834-5e15-a5fa-062170b236ba|1","ClassId":1073872969,"Properties":[201342446,"1",201342447,"5",201342448,"1",201342449,"1",469777841,"Arial",469777842,"",469777843,"Arial",469777844,"Arial",201341986,"1",469769226,"Arial",268442635,"24",469775450,"eop",201340122,"1",134233614,"true",469778129,"eop",335572020,"1",469778324,"Default Paragraph Font"]}">  </li> <li>Proven record of personnel management experience such as recruiting, managing, training, and developing employees and volunteers   </li> <li>Proficient with technology tools and in remote working for communicating and coordinating with a large network of TR staff members, Greyshirts (volunteers), and external stakeholders   </li> <li>Successful past performance in leading volunteers is highly desired</li> </ul> Special Requirements:  <ul> <li>This is a full-time; REMOTE position preferably based within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Area; within Northeast Texas (TX) north of Abilene & east of Waco, or anywhere in Oklahoma (OK) and provides a flexible & non-traditional work schedule</li> <li>Evening and weekend schedule supporting leadership meetings, video conferences, events, and operations </li> <li>Local Travel: Reliable transportation is required. The person filling this position will be expected to travel within their local area to support ongoing efforts</li> <li>Other Travel: At least 25% non-local travel to support broader organizational activities focused within the assigned territory</li> </ul> Job Type:  <ul> <li>Full-time; salary, exempt</li> </ul> Pay Range:   <ul> <li>$48,936.25 - $68,608.08 per year</li> </ul> <blockquote> The hiring range reflects where in the range we most likely intend to hire for this role.
