If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</p></div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> <p>Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:</p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Be a part of the Bodyshop Maintenance Team</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335557856":16777215,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Develop, debug, and optimize robot programs using industry-standard programming languages to automate tasks such as welding, assembly, painting, and material handling. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335557856":16777215,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Collaborate with engineers and technicians to translate process requirements into efficient robot motion sequences.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335557856":16777215,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Integrate robotic systems with other factory equipment and control systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), vision systems, and sensors, to create fully automated manufacturing cells and production lines. Ensure seamless communication and synchronization between robotic and non-robotic components.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335557856":16777215,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Utilize simulation software and offline programming tools to model robot movements, verify program logic, and optimize cycle times before implementation on the shop floor. Diagnose and resolve issues related to robot hardware, software, sensors, and peripheral equipment in a timely manner to minimize production disruptions.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335557856":16777215,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Implement safety protocols, including risk assessments, interlocks, and safety-rated software functions, to ensure the safe operation of robotic systems in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Provide training and technical support to operators, maintenance personnel, and production engineers on robot operation, programming, and safety procedures.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":true,"134233118":true,"201341983":0,"335557856":16777215,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Location & Travel Expectations</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in<strong> Blythewood, South Carolina</strong></li> <li>This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> </ul> <h4>What you’ll bring </h4> <p>We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset.
