JOB MISSION: New Balance is hiring a Senior Product Owner to lead the future of our in-store technology experience. In this role, you will own key Store Systems platforms from strategy through delivery, guiding products from first implementation to multi-year global rollouts across markets. You will be partnered with business and technology teams to shape product direction, prioritize high-impact work, and deliver scalable solutions that improve the experience for associates and customers. This is a high-visibility role for a product leader who combines strong commercial judgment, technical fluency, and execution discipline. This position is based in Lawrence, MA, with on-site work in our Retail Technology Lab as needed for pilots, testing, and rollout initiatives, plus flexibility to work from home when appropriate.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Own and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Store Systems platforms.
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle delivery: discovery, MVP definition, validation, launch, and scale.
- Translate business goals into prioritized epics, user stories, and release plans in Agile delivery models.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, QA, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
- Define and track product and operational KPIs to guide decisions, measure value, and start at the early stage.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform strategic product direction.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels and build alignment across global teams.
- Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and delivery risks through implementation and rollout waves.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Engineering, Business Systems Analysis, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience owning digital products from implementation through scaled rollout.
- Strong product sense and ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities.
- Hands-on Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban), including backlog ownership, prioritization, and sprint/release planning.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and writing/documentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and align cross-functional teams.
- Experience in retail technology, POS ecosystems, or omnichannel environments is preferred.
- In-store retail experience is a strong bonus.
Lawrence, MA Corp Only Pay Range: $138,500.00 - $173,000.00 - $207,500.00 Annual (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)

New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
