Our passion for positively impacting the lives of residents, administrators, and<br>healthcare professionals drives our commitment to continuously innovate and redefine senior care across<br>the country.</p> <p><br><strong>Position Details:</strong><br>The Licensing &amp; Credentialing Specialist is responsible for overseeing the licensing and credentialing<br>process for clinicians and medical providers across our nationwide practice. This role ensures that all<br>necessary licenses are obtained, renewed, and maintained in compliance with state regulations. The ideal<br>candidate will serve as the primary point of contact between state licensing boards, clinicians, and<br>internal teams, ensuring an efficient and streamlined process.</p> <p><br><strong>Job Type</strong>: Full-time<br><strong>Location:</strong> Brooklyn, NY</p> <h3><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p><br><strong>● Licensing &amp; Credentialing Process</strong><br>○ Process clinician licensing applications and renewals.<br>○ Verify and maintain accurate provider credentialing documentation.<br>○ Ensure provider licenses are current, in good standing, and renewed as needed.<br>○ Complete provider applications based on team direction.</p> <p><br>● <strong>Regulatory Compliance &amp;amp; Documentation</strong><br>○ Maintain knowledge of state licensing requirements and regulations.<br>○ Ensure compliance with credentialing policies, procedures, and industry standards.<br>○ Maintain accuracy of provider data in credentialing database systems.</p> <p><br>● <strong>Provider &amp; State Board Liaison</strong><br>○ Act as a liaison between clinicians and state licensing boards.<br>○ Communicate licensing requirements and application status updates.<br>○ Follow up with state boards and providers to ensure timely approvals.</p> <p>● <strong>Database &amp; Record Management</strong><br>○ Set up and maintain provider information in credentialing databases.<br>○ Monitor tasks assigned to both administrators and clinicians within the credentialing<br>system.<br>○ Maintain strict confidentiality of credentialing and licensing files.</p> <p><br>●<strong> Communication &amp; Reporting</strong><br>○ Keep management informed of progress and escalate issues related to license status as<br>needed.<br>○ Ensure effective follow-up and communication with providers and licensing entities.</p> <p><strong>Education Experience:</strong><br>● Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience<br>● 2+ years of experience in licensing, credentialing, or healthcare administration<br>● Experience with credentialing databases and licensing platforms preferred</p> <p><br><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies:</strong><br>● Strong knowledge of state licensing requirements and medical credentialing processes<br>● Excellent communication and customer service skills<br>● Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines<br>● Ability to handle confidential information with discretion<br>● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credentialing database systems<br>● Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously with minimal<br>errors</p> <p><br><strong>Benefits:</strong><br>● Health<br>● Dental<br>● Vision<br>● Company Sponsored Life Insurance<br>● Short and Long-term Disability<br>● Paid Time Off<br>● Flexible Work Environment<br>● Commuter Benefits</p> <p><br><strong>Salary Range</strong>: $30.00 - $40.00 an hour</p> <p><br><strong>EEO/AAP Statement:</strong> MedElite is an equal opportunity employer.
