Together, we champion continuous innovation and collaboration in our shared mission to redefine senior care across the country.</p> <h2><strong>Job Summary</strong></h2> <p>We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Diagnostic Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will perform both echocardiograms and electrocardiograms (EKGs) for patients in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. This position plays a vital role in supporting the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of cardiovascular conditions in a geriatric population.</p> <h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) in accordance with established protocols</li> <li>Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for cardiology interpretation</li> <li>Perform EKGs, rhythm strips, and other non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests</li> <li>Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort and safety throughout testing</li> <li>Properly place electrodes and operate EKG equipment according to established standards</li> <li>Identify and document anatomical and functional cardiac findings</li> <li>Monitor patients during testing and report abnormal findings to the supervising clinician</li> <li>Accurately document procedures and submit studies through designated systems</li> <li>Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment as needed</li> <li>Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and facility policies</li> <li>Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff</li> <li>Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities as assigned</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Requirements</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field preferred</li> <li>RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification or equivalent preferred for Echo studies</li> <li>EKG Technician certification (CET or equivalent) preferred</li> <li>Prior experience performing echocardiograms and/or EKGs required</li> <li>Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred</li> <li>Strong technical, diagnostic, and patient care skills</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Comfortable working with the geriatric population</li> <li>Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed</li> </ul> <ul> <li>&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Benefits</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Competitive salary: $75,000 - $110,000&nbsp;</li> <li>Health</li> <li>Dental</li> <li>Vision</li> <li>401K</li> <li>Company-Sponsored Life Insurance</li> <li>Paid Time Off</li> <li>Malpractice Insurance</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why Work With Us?</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors</li> <li>Work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment</li> <li>Enjoy work-life balance&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></h3> <p>Infinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
