Essential Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, lubrication, and tire services

- Drain and replace engine oil in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards

- Inspect, top up, and replace essential vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid

- Lubricate vehicle components, including wheel bearings and other moving parts, to support safe and reliable operation

- Replace common maintenance items such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers, and batteries

- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections, including brake measurements and underbody inspections, and accurately document findings through work orders

- Inspect tire condition, tread depth, wear patterns, and tire pressure, recommending repairs or replacements as required

- Repair minor tire punctures, replace valve stems, and mount and balance new tires

- Maintain accurate service records while following company procedures and safety standards

- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Previous experience performing tire services, oil changes, and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment

- Must possess a full, valid driver's licence and be able to provide current Standard and CVOR Driver's Abstracts with an acceptable driving record.

- 3–5 years of related experience is considered an asset

- Previous experience in a similar Tire & Lube Technician or automotive service role

- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to inspect and identify maintenance requirements

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality workmanship

- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Experience completing work orders and maintenance documentation

- College, trade, or technical education is considered an asset

- First-year 310T or 310S apprenticeship or certification is considered an asset

Work Conditions:

- Training schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts for approximately 2 weeks

- Regular schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. following the successful completion of training

- Overtime may be required based on operational needs

- Work is performed in both shop and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dirt, and dust

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with lifting aids available for heavier loads

- Occasional travel to pick up parts and supplies

Compensation

$27.40 - $36.35 per hour This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.

Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
