ABOUT THE ROLE: The Senior Wealth Strategist is a senior-level individual contributor role responsible for advanced wealth planning for ultra-high-net-worth clients within the firm. This role partners closely with advisors, client teams, and external professionals to design and deliver sophisticated, integrated wealth strategies across estate, tax, investment, retirement, and insurance disciplines.
Operating as a trusted expert and strategic thought partner, this role leads through influence, driving complex client outcomes, advancing planning capabilities, and elevating the overall wealth strategy platform. The Senior Wealth Strategist plays a critical role in shaping best practices, mentoring teammates, and serving as a visible subject matter leader across the organization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.
- Advanced Wealth Strategy Execution: Lead the design and delivery of complex, customized wealth strategies for ultra-high-net-worth clients, including multi-generational, entity-level, and cross-border planning considerations.
- Client Engagement & Influence: Act as a senior advisor in client engagements, presenting strategies, simplifying complex concepts, and influencing decision-making alongside lead advisors.
- RIA Planning Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on RIA-specific planning needs, aligning strategies with independent advisor models and client expectations.
- Advisor Partnership & Elevation: Partner with advisors to enhance their ability to identify, position, and deliver wealth strategy solutions; provide guidance on complex planning scenarios.
- Deliverable Ownership & Quality: Own the accuracy, consistency, and quality of sophisticated client deliverables, ensuring alignment with firm standards and client objectives.
- Thought Leadership Development: Create advanced planning content, insights, and presentations that support advisor engagement and position the firm as a leader in wealth strategy.
- Process & Capability Enhancement: Identify and implement improvements in planning processes, tools, and workflows to drive scalability and consistency across the RIA platform.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Provide informal mentorship and coaching to strategists, analysts, and advisors, elevating technical capabilities across the broader team.
- Risk & Compliance Stewardship: Ensure all recommendations and deliverables meet regulatory, fiduciary, and firm policy standards.
- External Presence & Industry Engagement: Maintain an active presence in industry organizations and forums, bringing forward insights and best practices to the firm.
- Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team’s and the company’s mission.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in wealth planning, estate planning, or advanced financial planning within a financial services or RIA environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting complex, high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth.
- Professional designation (CFP, JD, CPA, or LLM) preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Qualified candidates will possess an advanced degree of proficiency (typically from 10+ years of work or practical experience), in:
- Advanced Wealth Planning Expertise: Deep technical knowledge across estate, tax, investment, retirement, and insurance planning
- Strategic Influence: Ability to lead through expertise and influence outcomes without direct authority
- Client Communication & Presentation: Exceptional ability to translate complex planning concepts into clear, compelling client-facing narratives
- Analytical & Problem Solving Skills: Strong ability to synthesize complex information and develop tailored solutions
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., eMoney or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
