Job description

About Us: EvolutionIQ's mission is to deliver state-of-the-art technology that helps insurance claims teams make claims handling more accurate, fair, and efficient, so that more people impacted by injury or illness can continue their lives with dignity and stability. We are pioneers in vertical AI and driving business value from AI applications. As part of CCC Intelligent Solutions, a publicly traded technology company (NASDAQ: CCC) serving the P&C insurance industry, we combine EIQ's AI-native product development with CCC's 40 years of proprietary data and deep carrier relationships. Together, the combined organization serves the largest and most complex insurance carriers in the world, and we are building the next generation of AI-first products for the casualty insurance market. Our team is our #1 priority, and we have been named one of Inc.’s Best Workplaces 3 years in a row and Built In’s Best Places to work in 2025 and 2026!

About the Role: We are hiring Senior & Lead Product Managers to help build the next generation of AI-first products for Property & Casualty (P&C) claims. Both EvolutionIQ & CCC deliver mission-critical, AI-led solutions to enterprise P&C insurance carriers , and our mission is to bring the best of these products together to deliver a unified, more valuable experience to carriers. You'll work across both EIQ and CCC product lines to develop and execute on an ambitious multi-year roadmap to deliver next-generation workflows, synthesis, insights, and decision guidance technologies to our broad shared customer base in P&C.

While no two days are the same, on any given day you can expect to:

Drive the roadmap and execution for AI-first products

Build and ship AI-first products that guide and augment human decision-making in P&C claims

Work directly with stakeholders at major insurance carriers to uncover problems, test product concepts, and drive business outcomes

Get early product concepts in front of customers and use their reactions to make real decisions about what to build next

Partner with customer success, sales, and product marketing to support go-to-market strategy for new capabilities

Write code and build working prototypes alongside your engineers, using AI coding tools as a core part of how you work

Define clear value propositions, adoption hypotheses, and kill criteria for your work, and have the discipline to walk away from work that isn't landing

Contribute to the strategic direction of P&C products broadly

What You'll Achieve with Us

Take product concepts from a blank page to working prototypes in front of the largest insurance carriers in the world

Shape the future of how auto casualty claims are handled by building AI-first products that change what's possible for claims organizations

Work across a uniquely broad product surface — from modernizing established, revenue-generating products to launching entirely new AI-first product lines

Develop deep expertise in a massive, complex industry where AI is about to reshape decades of established practice

Work at the intersection of a market-leading enterprise with unmatched data and carrier relationships and an AI-native team that ships like a startup

Grow your scope and impact as the combined casualty product organization scales

About You

You are a seasoned Product professional who has built something from nothing at least once, ideally at a company where velocity and scrappiness were the norm. You think about products in terms of the economic and workflow problems they solve for a specific buyer, and you can carry that framing from early exploration through a compelling prototype.

You have gone deep in at least one complex, regulated vertical (fintech, healthtech, legaltech, HCM, or similar) and can speak specifically about how you built that understanding. We care less about which vertical and more about evidence that you know how to learn a complex domain quickly and turn that knowledge into good product decisions.

You are technical enough to contribute directly to working software. On a small team, there is no room for someone who shapes strategy and hands a spec to engineering. You build alongside your engineers using AI coding tools.

You have been a product leader on at least one product where AI was core to the value proposition, and you use AI tools daily in your actual work, not as a novelty, but as part of how you operate.

You are comfortable working across multiple products and teams. You'll be operating across both EIQ and CCC product lines, and you're energized by that breadth rather than needing a single, fixed lane.

You have real discipline around killing work that isn't working. The intellectual honesty required to walk away from something you've built and care about, because the customer signal says no, is rarer than it sounds.

Key Competencies

0-to-1 product building. You have taken a product from concept through market validation and can point to specific decisions you made along the way.

Domain learning velocity. You can go deep in a new industry quickly, distinguish essential complexity from accumulated habit, and turn domain knowledge into product insight.

Technical contribution. You can prototype, build, and ship alongside engineers, working in AI coding environments and making direct technical contributions to the products you own.

Commercial instinct. You are comfortable in front of enterprise buyers, can construct a compelling value proposition and ROI case, and work well alongside sales and revenue teams.

AI fluency. You have practical, hands-on experience building AI-first products and a realistic sense of current capabilities and limitations.

Experimentation discipline. You define hypotheses, set kill criteria, test ideas with real customers, and make clear-eyed decisions about what to continue and what to stop.

Experience:

4+ years of product management experience in enterprise software or high-production SaaS environment (Senior or Lead will be determined based on experience)

At least one 0-to-1 product build, ideally in a startup or high-velocity environment

Deep experience in at least one complex, regulated vertical

Demonstrated experience building and shipping AI-driven products

Track record of working directly with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders to validate product direction

Comfort operating in ambiguity, with a bias toward action and learning over extensive upfront planning

Experience delivering results in a sales/GTM context, communicating effectively across stakeholders from end users to C-level executives

Work-life, Culture & Perks:

Compensation: The base salary range is up to $220K for Senior and up to $240K for Lead, with flexibility depending on a candidate's background and experience. An annual bonus plan and company equity plan (RSUs) are also included in our compensation package.

Well-Being: Medical, dental, vision, short & long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D, and 401k matching. Additional family, wellness, and pet benefits.

Home & Family: Paid time off and sick leave, 100% paid parental leave (16 weeks for primary caregivers and 12 weeks for secondary caregivers). We offer a flexible schedule for new parents returning to work.

Office Life: Catered lunches, happy hours, pet-friendly spaces, and monthly technology stipend.

Growth & Training: $1,000/year for each employee for professional development, as well as opportunities for tuition reimbursement.

Sponsorship: We are open to sponsoring candidates currently in the U.S. who need to transfer their active visa. Please check with our Recruiting team if your visa is applicable for transfer.

EvolutionIQ appreciates your interest in our company as a place of employment. EvolutionIQ is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
