Maintenance Technician - Nights

Shift: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $28.50 an hour + $1.50 shift differential

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will support plant operations by performing maintenance, repair, and installation of production and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations at the Mankato manufacturing facility. A Taste of Your Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production and auxiliary equipment, including forklifts, pressure washers, rooftop units, and heating and cooling systems.

- Install, maintain, and support company machinery and equipment.

- Perform equipment changeovers to support production requirements.

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

- Conduct building maintenance, welding, fabrication, and minor sheet metal work.

- Coordinate maintenance activities to align with production schedules and partner with external contractors and suppliers for maintenance-related support.

- Coach and support team members on maintenance-related processes and best practices while following all safety policies and correcting unsafe conditions.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school, or one or more years of related training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Experience with mechanical assemblies including gearboxes, drives, and related components.

- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.

- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics systems.

- Basic electrical knowledge including three phase systems, breakers, and schematic reading.

- Ability to work 12-hour night shift on 2-2-3 schedule.

Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:

- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.

- Performing consistent repetitive tasks.

- Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
