Electrician As an Electrician, you will support production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including but not limited to robots, CNC lathes, mills, conveyors, induction heating systems, and forging presses.
- Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical and control system issues using PLC troubleshooting techniques and effective repair methods.
- Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, equipment specifications, and technical documentation to complete repairs and installations.
- Conduct preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance inspections to minimize equipment downtime.
- Safely operate and utilize electrical tools and testing equipment, including hand tools, conduit benders, megger insulation testers, and voltage/amperage measuring devices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following established procedures and company standards.
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as all MIOSHA and Dauch safety policies and procedures.
Compensation: The starting wage for this position is $38.23 per hour , plus a shift premium for off-shift assignments:
- 2nd Shift: +$0.75 per hour
- 3rd Shift: +$0.75 per hour
Required Skills and Education
- Experience with relay logic, motors, motor starters and control circuits for AC & DC Motors.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team or independently with little supervision.
- Shift flexibility is essential. Preferred
Preferred:
- PLC experience with Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley and GE Fanuc
- Journeyman's Card (Electrician)
